“I invite you to imagine a world that works. A world in balance, not mired in crisis. A united world, on the way to the SDGs, without leaving anyone behind. I want you to remember that what we can imagine, we can achieve. Particularly when we come together. Unity is at the heart of the SDGs because achieving any single goal requires achieving them all. And this is only possible when people themselves unite for change.

change. Here, one can immerse themselves in the world of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and select a
campaign signage that resonates with their deepest convictions. Each sign represents a unique facet of the global goals,
and individuals are encouraged to pick one that speaks to their heart.
UNITE TO ACT is the core campaign message of our campaign. United does not mean everyone doing the same thing or thinking the same way. It means people coming together, in all our diversity, to give humanity and our planet a beautiful, sustainable future.
It’s a message of hope, of possibilities and of the urgency of action now.” – Marina Ponti, the Global Director of United Nations SDG Action Campaign said through a virtual video broadcasted during the Grand launching of CHANGE MAKER 2040 last September 16, 2023. Ponti also thanked PAEC’s President and CEO for the creativity, passion, and determination in making an interactive museum focused on the SDG become a reality in the Philippines.

UNITE TO ACT is the UN SDG Action Campaign’s 2023 initiative aimed at mobilizing and inspiring action for the SDGs. The campaign hinges around the success of the Activator – a digital tool that invites global citizens to take a picture of themselves with the UNITE TO ACT filter, upload their commitment to the SDGs, and register themselves on the unique Global Map to #Act4SDGs.
True to its mission of not only promoting the Philippines’ tourism and education, the Philippine Amusement and Entertainment Corp. (PAEC) aspires to pay back the world for what it has blessed this team of young dynamic entrepreneurs thru a noble project, that is CHANGE MAKER 2040, where PAEC has partnered with both governmentand non-governmentinstitutionsto advance itsobjectiveofcreating awareness among Filipinos about the importance of SDG in saving our planet. With the hopes that every Filipino will accept and practice the SDG into their daily lives.
In his welcome address, PAEC’s President and CEO Lance Tan said that, “PAEC as a company started with the core mission of helping the Filipinos by giving equal opportunities for everyone regardless of religion, educational attainment, or gender preference. This mission was heightened during the pandemic, when we saw different life scenarios all over the country while doing different CSR projects when the country was in locked down. PAEC didn’t stop, my team created a program with series of projects in cooperation with JCI Makati that we were able to do hundreds of projects to help the Filipinos and our mother earth. It was then that we started talking about CHANGE MAKER 2040. It was then that it really hit the core of our being. It was then that we met and able to immerse ourselves with different IP tribes in our country. It was then that we saw the unfortunate inequalities in some parts of the country, which contributed to the division among Filipinos. But it was also then that we realized that each of us need to act now if we want the future generation to have a healthy planet where they can be happy and free to live.”
CHANGE MAKER 2040 was made possible with close consultation with the Department of Education thru the office of Assistant Secretary for Youth Affairs and Special Concerns, Dr. Dexter Galban and the Department of Science and Technology’s National Academy of Science and Technology (DOST-NAST) thru the office of its President, Dr. Jaime Montoya to bridge the role of education in achieving the 17 SDGs.
