VIENNA, Va.—Sunrise Senior Living, the leading provider of personalized senior living services, recently announced the grand opening of its newest community, Sunrise of Vienna. The new 81,755-square-foot, 4-story property was designed to offer top-notch assisted living and memory care services, accommodating more than 100 residents.
Sunrise of Vienna boasts meticulously designed suites and thoughtfully crafted common areas. Its in-house design team has taken great care to create an environment that prioritizes both comfort and safety, incorporating features in the community such as custom finishes and an advanced emergency response system. Combining modern elegance with inviting interior design elements, the community features a harmonious blend of shared spaces and private quarters, all adorned with furniture tailored to meet residents’ unique needs.
In an effort to become fully integrated with the local community, Sunrise of Vienna showcased a custom painted mural and two custom painted benches. The artistic elements are a testament to Sunrise’s commitment to embracing the creative spirit of the Town of Vienna and fostering a sense of belonging within the neighborhood. Renowned artist Chad Bradley was chosen for his exceptional talent in capturing the organic aesthetic of the building and its interiors. The custom painted images depict scenes inspired by outdoor living, local birds, and native trees, adding a touch of natural beauty to Sunrise of Vienna.
Tango Pastry, a café open to residents, families and the general public was added to bring the warmth of bakery delicacies from Argentina to the Washington DC area, delighting palates with fresh, unique flavors. In addition to bakery delights, the café serves delicious lunch and dinner options, including the beloved empanada—a culinary icon celebrated for its varied fillings and fantastic taste.
“We are excited to unveil Sunrise of Vienna, a community that goes beyond traditional senior living by blending artistry, culture and exceptional experiences to create the preferred lifestyle for residents to enjoy longer, healthier, happier lives,” said Adriane Oliver, Sunrise of Vienna Executive Director. “With the addition of the custom painted mural by Chad Bradley and the inviting Tango Pastry café, Sunrise of Vienna aims to create an inclusive and vibrant environment where residents and the local community can come together, celebrate life, and forge lasting connections.”

The community will provide a wide range of amenities and services, including personalized care plans, enriching activities, delicious chef-prepared meals, and a dedicated team of trained caregivers available 24/7.
