Blind Spot

NOT A GOOD HOST

THE staff and crew of a certain TV show are exasperated at one of its hosts because of her inability to say anything beyond what is on the teleprompter. In her former network, the host was also rumored to be someone who couldn’t ad lib to save her life but since she was a sort of queen bee there, no one could confirm it. This time, the staff and crew of her show mince no words in telling others that they wish the host would at least try to hone her skills. Doing ad libs is not really a God-given gift but something that can be learned. The staff and crew are so annoyed that the host is like a child reading a textbook in front of the camera. The show isn’t rating well and her performance isn’t helping at all.

SPREADING HERSELF TOO THIN

IS the beauty queen-actress spreading herself too thin by taking on so much? Aside from being a beauty queen, this lady also acts and is an influencer and endorser. Her manager gives her a lot of work, which is fine, if he would only fix her schedule. As it is, the beauty queen is sometimes the cause of delay during tapings and events. This is too bad, because many people who work in production are only paid when the cameras start rolling. So if the beauty queen is late and taping or shooting can’t start, then it means the production people and extras don’t get paid. The same is true for events—those who work under people who mount the events are only paid when work is done. It is not the beauty queen’s fault but her manager’s because she is just working according to the schedule he gives her.

TMI

THE celebrity makeup artist is making a lot of people uncomfortable when he says things he shouldn’t say to those he has just met. For instance, he once attended an event where he told people that he was extremely depressed. These are people that he just met that day; some of the event guests were either triggered or affected by the things he said. The weird thing is that in the next event, he met these people again and he just looked through them. They’re saying that he probably was just playing with them because when they see him during TikTok lives, he seems happy and bubbly. This may not be a cause for judgment, but the people he encounters wish that the makeup artist gets professional help instead of just talking to strangers about his feelings.

PR maneuvers

THE actress was recently exposed for wearing copies of luxury designer items. What she did was to make sure that she got the real versions of the items that were exposed to be fake. She spent a fortune on this but she had to save her reputation before things got worse and her detractors got wind of the expose and use it against her. Luckily, her plan worked with a bit of cash thrown in. The actress’ social media team reportedly had to bribe the individual who made the revelation. The individual then included the actress in the list of those who always wear authentic designer stuff.
