From Finland to China, Malaysia, Kuwait, Singapore and now the Philippines.
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, the Philippines’ lifestyle malls pioneer, and SuperPark, a global indoor activity park operator from Finland, are joining forces for the opening of the first-ever SuperPark Philippines.
The agreement, formalized through an official contract signing between Kevin Tan, CEO of Megaworld’s parent company – Alliance Global Group, Inc., Graham Coates, Head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, and Juha Tanskanen, CEO of SuperPark LTD., entails the exclusive licensed establishment of two initial SuperPark locations in Megaworld’s premier townships in Metro Manila.
Under the partnership, the first SuperPark Philippines branch will rise inside the 18.5-hectare Eastwood City in Quezon City. This will be followed by another location in the 50-hectare McKinley Hill in Taguig City.
The two new Philippine locations are part of SuperPark’s aggressive global expansion, particularly in Asia, the Middle East, Australia, Europe and North America.
Hailed as the ‘friendliest all-in-one indoor activity park in the world’ with multiple locations in Finland, China, Malaysia, Kuwait and Singapore, SuperPark is enjoyed by its patrons all over the world for its fun and high-energy indoor activities that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Its main goal is to share the sheer joy of movement and play, while promoting friendship, camaraderie and a strong sense of family among its guests.
SuperPark Philippines will have three purpose-built themed areas offering more than 20 unique activities that will allow guests of all ages to join in the fun and keep active.
One of the key features of SuperPark is the Adventure Area, where toddlers can explore and adults can be kids again. Activities include an award-winning multi-story playground with obstacles, climbing structures, toddler’s ball game, and digital wall.
Game Arena, on the other hand, is made for sports-oriented kids and families. It mainly has sports-themed activities enhanced by digital and technology. Games will range from basketball, football, cycling, running, dodgeball, digital parkour experience, and one-of-a-kind freeform mixed-reality game. There will also be games that will develop an individual’s motor skills, improve balance and agility, and boost stamina.
Best for free-spirited kids, teenagers and young adults, Freestyle Hall will have trampolines with mixed-reality games, airbag, freedrop, and digital climbing walls.
“We are extremely honored that Megaworld Lifestyle Malls will be the location of the first SuperParks in the country. SuperPark’s concept is enjoyable, inclusive, and stimulates movement and fitness – and these values are aligned with what we offer as premier lifestyle destinations. We are excited for Filipinos to experience this indoor activity park, with a promise of one-of-a-kind amusement, accessibility, and safety,” said Graham Coates, Head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
