Dr. Ersyl Tatoy Biray is an accomplished Professional Teacher, known for his exemplary work as an academic leader and educationist.
Dr. Biray is a Professor VI of the College of Teacher Education and has previously served as the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Aklan State University (ASU). Additionally, he has served as the past dean of the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS), the School of Management Sciences (SMS), and the College of Teacher Education (CTE).
Dr. Biray’s immense contributions to the field of education have earned him numerous national and international awards as an outstanding educator, leader, researcher, and professor, including the International Luminary in Educational Leadership and Advocate for Inclusive Education Award.
The award was presented to him during the grandiose 6th Asia-Pacific Luminare Awards Night, where he was recognized for his unselfish commitment and untarnished image as a career professional in service to God and the community. He is also recognized as the Most Exemplary Filipino Educator and Multi-Awarded Professional Leader of the Year in the Gintong Parangal 2022, and Most Outstanding Educator and Advocate for Quality Education of the Year during the Ika-apat na Dangal ng Lahi Awards 2022.
