Intending to enhance policies that will help prospective job seekers fill up positions available in the current job market, a five-day hybrid training workshop on the Fundamentals of Labor Market Information recently took place in Tagaytay City.
One of the speakers in the workshop is (in photo) Grace Baldoza, Labor Market Information Chief of the Department of Labor and Employment. During her speech, Baldoza proposed several points that will help reduce the mismatch between labor and skills in the Philippines.
The program was organized by the Philippine office of the International Labor Organization through the skills for Prosperity Programme funded by the United Kingdom government.
