Trade Secretary and Export Development Council (EDC) Chairman Alfredo Pascual led the first EDC meeting last January 27  where it was highlighted that the Council will sustain its efforts to foster industry development that will support the export integration of innovation centers.

Discussions also included pressing export issues and how the EDC can help facilitate policy interventions.
