Stunning artworks of several of the country’s talented artists will be unveiled in a wonderful art exhibit on February 10, hosted by the premier 5-star hotel in the Southern Metro, The Bellevue Manila, owned and managed by The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts (BH&R), in partnership with leading art gallery L’Arc en Ciel Atelier Incorporated.
Art has become more than just an avenue to convey our inner thoughts and feelings to people who might share them. Following the success of Amore last 2016, The Bellevue Manila and L’Arc en Ciel Atelier Incorporated is proud to share that the Amore exhibit will be back, dubbed as Amore II. The exhibit will feature exquisite masterpieces of various renowned artists such as the atelier’s senior, intermediate and up and coming artists, as well as guest artists.
One of the atelier’s seniors to look out to is the works of Mia O. Herbosa. At a young age, she gathered a uniquely close following for her art. She began her career in 1995 with a sold-out show in Manila’s Ayala Museum and has garnered a string of awards from preeminent art societies in New York City. Exhibiting in the U.S., Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Italy, this Filipina artist has captured the public eye of international audiences. The paintings, sculptures, and etchings that comprise her oeuvre form a distinct journal of her soul. It is the means by which she captures life as she sees it, living as she feels it.
Get to know more about other notable artists included in Amore II such as Alfred T. Galura, Rene V. Canlas, Gerardo B. Jimenez, Miguel Buhay, Elaine O. Herbosa, Sky De Leon, Noemi Concepcion, and Nina A. Herbosa. The exhibit will be displayed at the Tower Wing Lobby of The Bellevue Manila from February 11 to February 16, 2023.
