KOPONANG Lakan ng Bulacan beat Batang Kankaloo-Caloocan, 72-61, for its fourth straight win in the Manila Bankers Life-Pilipinas Super League Pro Division Second Conference Dumper Cup Thursday at the Caloocan Sports Complex.
Former Philippine Basketball Association player Leo Najorda shone for Bulacan with 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists, while Mark Pangilinan added 14 points and four rebounds.
Bulacan, coming off a 102-69 demolition of San Pedro Laguna-ARS last January 26, climbed to 7-3 won-lost to tie its victim at fifth place.
In the other game, Quezon City thrashed the Warriors, 114-84, and improved to 2-7.
Jan led the Beacons with 24 points, while Onzo Lorenzana added 15 points and three rebounds.
San Pedro dropped to 2-8.
Gabby Espinas and Paul Sanga paced Caloocan with 23 and 18 points, respectively.
