Public school students start the year with ‘Bears of Joy’ from SM City Baliwag

At least 400 public students of Baliwag South Central School welcome the year with cheer as they become recipients of the SM Bears of Joy donation from SM City Baliwag. Leading the distribution were SM City Baliwag Assistant Mall Manager Eugene Martin and Building Administration Manager Jay Esquivel. Members of the faculty, led by the school principal, Ms. Rosalie Santos, welcomed them.

In time for the return of classes after the holiday break, SM Bears of Joy brought smiles to children’s faces while stilling the importance of sharing and gift-giving.

Spearheaded by SM Cares, SM Supermalls, and Toy Kingdom, SM Bears of Joy is an annual project that allows shoppers to take part in bringing happiness to the community.
