An industry leader with 41 years of experience, Bulldog Security Agency, Inc. (BSAI), otherwise known as Bulldog, has once again achieved the distinction of being the FIRST in the Philippine security industry to be granted a Guarding Service Requirements (GSR) Certificate from the Transported Asset Protection Association – Asia Pacific (TAPA-APAC).
Bulldog was founded in 1981 by the Parsons family in their hometown Negros Occidental. After it was acquired by the present management in 1991, Bulldog embarked on an expansion program that attracted high-profile clients in industries such as manufacturing and logistics, as well as commercial establishments which included hotels, malls, villages, and high-rise buildings. It was awarded an ISO 9000:2001 certification issued by TUV Rheinland for the years 2002-2005. This affirmed the commitment of management to comply with international standards with regard to their operational, legal, and statutory practices, which included strict adherence to the code of conduct and ethics.
Today, Bulldog upholds this pledge through its achievement of being the first Philippine GSR-Certified security agency. The awarding was announced during the TAPA Manila Conference held at the Wyndham Microtel on November 16th 2022. Mr. Cesar Afable, Jr. together with Mrs. Ciara Lazatin Mapa, representing the top management of Bulldog formally received the certificate from Mr. Sangar Kandasamy, BOD-Treasurer of TAPA APAC who traveled from Kuala Lumpur to personally attend the event where he also delivered as speech aligned to the theme: Resilience Through Digital Transformation.
The TAPA Certification is an internationally recognized standard that aims to assist companies to achieve supply chain resilience. The rigorous audit protocols ensure that only the most stringent security standards are adhered to.
