PHOENIX Super LPG and Rain or Shine square off Wednesday each seeking its fourth win in the Philippine Basketball Association Commissioner’s Cup at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo City.
The game starts at 3 p.m.
The Fuel Masters lost their first three games but recovered with a three-game winning streak with big wins over Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, 101-93, and Meralco, 89-82.
Despite playing without usual main guys like Matthew Wright and the injured Jason Perkins, the Fuel Masters found a diamond in the rough in rookie Tyler Tio with Encho Serrano also providing big numbers.

Phoenix import Kaleb Avery Wesson is averaging 19.8 points and 15.1 assists while Tio is producing 16.1 points and Serrano racking up 10.3 points in six games.
Wesson has been effective on defense especially against Meralco when he grounded his counterpart Johnny O’ Bryant to just seven points.
Just like the Fuel Masters , the Elasto Painters are also 3-3 won-lost.
Rain or Shine is coming off a 113-96 victory over Meralco last Saturday.
NorthPort also guns for its fourth win in seven outings when it meets San Miguel Beer at 5:45 p.m.
The Batang Pier are expected to utilize playmaker Robert Bolick, Arvin Tolentino, shot-blocking import Prince Ibeh and newly-signed Gilas Pilipinas player William Navarro.
The Beermen (2-3), are hoping to get back-to-back wins after beating NLEX, 124-116, last Sunday.
Import Devon Scott posted 26 points and 10 rebounds while Marcio Lassiter and Vic Manuel had 22 points also in that game for the Beermen.
