The Public Assistance Command Center (PACC) of the Department of Education (DepEd) received a total of 470 concerns on the second day of its 2022 Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE).
As of 3 p.m. of August 16, DepEd said that out of the 470 issues received, enrolment queries topped the list with 220 concerns (47 percent).
Other Matters followed this with 84 concerns (18 percent); School Policy and Operations with 68 concerns (14 percent); Personnel with 46 concerns (10 percent), and Senior High School (SHS) with 12 concerns (3 percent).
The main issues received under the enrolment category were enrollment requirements for transferees, incomplete enrolment requirements, and enrolment confirmation of learners.
For “Other Matters,” most issues include queries in the contact details of Schools Division Offices, requests for transfer of school credentials, and process of Certification, Authentication, and Verification (CAV) of school records.
Meanwhile, the concerns received about School Policy and Operations were mainly on the policy of withholding a learner’s school credentials due to unpaid balance.
For Personnel, issues received include filing a formal complaint against a teacher, promotion and ranking process, and transfer of teaching personnel.
Lastly, the concerns received under the SHS category were about the application and procedure of the SHS Voucher Program.
Compared to the first day of the 2022 OBE, the PACC received 55 percent more enrolment concerns on Tuesday.
The circumstances under Other Matters were 46 percent higher; School Policy and Operations concerns were 66 percent higher; Personnel concerns were 72 percent higher; and SHS concerns were 42 percent higher than on Monday.
Moreover, the command center summarized the top five issues received per category on the second day of the 2022 OBE and how the concerns were addressed.
