Lalamove, a leading on-demand delivery service, has been driving the growth of trucking operators as it bolsters its footprint to more areas in Luzon and Cebu, allowing them to ride on the e-commerce spike and the robust demands for home delivery services.
Through Lalamove’s Fleet Management Program, owner-operators can manage their vehicles—from motorcycles, sedans, vans, and trucks—in a single platform, helping them to increase their earnings. This, as the downtime for delivery riders will be reduced with the portal showing areas with high demand for orders.
Lalamove’s last-mile and long-distance delivery services can now cover the farthest locations in North and South Luzon, as well as Cebu.
“As a logistics solutions provider, Lalamove is an enabling force that gives fleet owners more opportunities to earn and connect them to consumers. It’s these chances that we will continue to provide since delivery remains a lifeline among the Filipino market,” said Dannah Majarocon, Managing Director of Lalamove Philippines.
KUR Delivery Services is just one of the industry players that got a boost after it tapped Lalamove’s fleet management.
Romeo Dela Cruz Noquera, Jr., the owner of KUR Delivery Services, admitted that before teaming up with the Lalamove management program, his business’ sales were “quite stagnant” due to weak bookings.
But after onboarding at Lalamove, Noquera said his business has since gained access to more clients, translating to higher sales.
With its 6-wheel closed vans, KUR Delivery Services has been delivering packages, such as ukay-ukay, furniture, and appliances, to areas around Metro Manila and Central Luzon.
“We signed up for Lalamove’s Partner Operator Program because we saw the potential and benefits that will help us in managing our business conveniently. We also took this chance to expand our business reach because of Lalamove’s platform,” he said.
“Since we onboarded with Lalamove, it gave us more opportunities to cater to more clients, our bookings consistently increased which gave us more exposure, and most of all, through Lalamove, we gained more knowledge in the logistics business industry,” Noquera added.
Noquera said his partnership with Lalamove has pumped up the business’ financials, enabling him to buy new units.
“I can say that since we started our partnership with Lalamove, our fleet has progressed. I was able to acquire additional units to add to my fleet. It also provides us with sustainable income and hopefully soon we can further expand our fleet,” he said.
The reliable delivery platform seeks to keep its aggressive expansion in the Philippines, with more areas eyed to cover this 2022.
