National Police chief Lt. Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. has implemented a reshuffle affecting senior officers in key positions in the police organization.
The Philippine National Police, through its Public Information Office, however, has yet to officially identify the officials affected by the reorganization as well as those who were named to their new positions as of this writing on Tuesday late afternoon.
The PNP said the revamp was initiated to strengthen and empower strategic offices and units with the designation of more seasoned and experienced officers to head them.
Azurin implemented the reshuffle less than a week after he assumed the top post in the PNP on Wednesday last week.
