IT is number 48 for Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) as it recently inaugurated the newest dealership in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Subic, Zambales.
Now officially open to the public, Isuzu Subic, under the management of Velocity Motor Sales Corp. (VMSC), takes pride in being part of the automotive brand’s growing dealership network. Of course, as part of IPC’s continuing expansion is the modernization efforts to achieve new facilities to bear the latest Isuzu Outlet Standardization (IOS) design.
In 2019, VMSC held its formal site groundbreaking, making the upcoming facility the first-ever Isuzu dealership in the area and becoming one of the most competitive international services and logistic centers in Southeast Asia. Subic Bay Freeport Zone is one of the Philippines’s primary economic zones, receiving numerous investment projects. Considering these opportunities, Isuzu Subic is poised to become the automotive and transport solution hub to cater to the fast-growing province of Zambales.
Situated in an expansive 5,000-sq.m property, Isuzu Subic boasts a 1,380-sq.m main five-vehicle showroom area. The service area, meantime, has a total space of 1.518 sq.m that can accommodate eight-light commercial vehicles and two commercial vehicles, a wash bay and wheel alignment facility, and slots for body repair and paint works. A spacious and separate area would enable the facility to accommodate more vehicles, especially trucks requiring heavy-duty maintenance.
During the ceremony, executives of IPC and Velocity Motor Sales Corp. organized a walk-through of the newest facility. Bearing the latest IOS compliant design, it enhances the customer’s overall journey, highlighting an aesthetic and functional design that provides a more spacious and organized area and expresses Isuzu’s new brand identity and its long-standing reputation for durable and reliable products. The new facilities will also contribute significantly to a seamless automotive retail experience for customers and dealership personnel.
Jason Hao, Isuzu Subic President, shared, “Our company, together with the unending support and guidance of IPC, would be honored to work hand in hand with the leaders of Subic Bay Freeport Zone and its nearby town’s leaders by providing the right vehicle for each and every customer. For us, there are no such thing as big or small customers. We will make sure to value everyone because, as the saying goes, “We are happy to serve you.”
“We hope everybody is as excited as we are because Isuzu, the number one truck brand in the Philippines, is finally in Subic! This brings each and every one of us wonderful business opportunities in the region, not only locally but internationally as well. Throughout this entire endeavor, we have worked hard in trying to get this business up and running; everybody invited here has positively influenced us, helped us set this business up, or are business partners. We are eternally grateful for your support, and we wish to strengthen our partnership and friendship for many generations to come,” Jeffrey Hao Lin, Velocity Motor Sales Corp., Chairman, added.
Now on its 25th year and with 48–strong dealership facilities, IPC aims to strengthen its market leadership in trucks and LCVs in the country. With the newly established Isuzu Subic dealership designed to world-class IOS specifications, residents nearby will have one more lifelong reason to make Isuzu “Your Responsible Partner.” Moreso, VMSC is highly recognized for its expertise and achievements in trucks and bodybuilding operations on the northern coast of Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, Isuzu Subic’s extended facility and increased capacity are just several action plans to provide more access to the brand’s highest quality of aftersales servicing and parts fulfillment in the country. Subic is primed to become the most competitive international services and logistic center in Southeast Asia, continuously leading to being one of the country’s major economic engines receiving numerous investment projects.
