After a two-year break from performing due to pandemic restrictions, the Philippine Embassy Cultural Performers Group in Moscow is currently preparing to return to the stage for this year’s cultural activities.
First on the list is a collaboration with students of Moscow State University Institute of African and Asian Studies, facilitated by Dr. Ekaterina Baklanova and the embassy’s Cultural Section.
PCPG dance master Josil Fabella, together with choirmaster Imelda Jeresano and Lorna Tesaluna, taught students the steps and technique of the notoriously difficult traditional Filipino dance tinikling.
The students will perform such on May 14 during the 65th anniversary of the institute. MOSCOW PE
