Winford Manila Resort & Casino (WMRC) has resumed full operations and now accepts leisure bookings.
The reopening of the luxury casino hotel comes in the wake of disruptions to its operations lasting nearly two years due to the global crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
During the closure, WMRC focused its efforts on making the necessary safety enhancements throughout the property in preparation for the ‘next normal’, earning it the highly-coveted Safety Seal Certification—an exclusive distinction bestowed upon accommodation establishments that implement and enforce safety protocols set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) to combat the spread of COVID-19.
“Our goal in 2022 and beyond is to regain the strong momentum we enjoyed in early 2020, now that things are finally returning to normal,” said Jeffrey Evora, President & Chief Operating Officer, WMRC.
“We are welcoming back guests to Winford Manila with their safety being our top priority not only to ensure they have peace of mind, but so they will feel like they are in a place that is as safe as their own home.”
For the entire month of April, WMRC is not only making a comeback, but also celebrating a milestone—its 5th Anniversary since launching on April 17, 2017. Dubbed SINGKO SWERTE, the month-long extravaganza offers members and guests irresistible deals and special attractions for a limited time only.
Among these is the Waves and Tails Easter fair on Sunday, April 17, 2022. Starting at 1:00PM and lasting until 5:00PM, the pirate and mermaid-themed event will take place in the hotel’s ballroom on the 4th floor and is suitable for guests of all ages. The highlight is a not-to-be-missed performance by a real-life mermaid who will showcase her aquatic abilities in the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool.
Also on the entertainment front, singing dance group Mocha Girls will perform live on April 12 & 19 at WMRC’s Hippodrome Bar & Lounge, while award-winning and multi-talented Ice Seguerra is set to take the stage on April 30.
Other SINGKO SWERTE exclusives include a room deal for a one-night stay in WMRC’s spacious Deluxe Room with breakfast buffet for two for as low as PHP3,600 nett. Foodies are also in for a treat with a brunch buffet featuring unlimited lechon at Spanish-Filipino fusion restaurant Copa de Manila located on WMRC’s ground floor from 11:00AM to 2:00PM on April 24.
Major prizes are up for grabs in the SINGKO SWERTE raffle where participants can earn a chance to win one or more of 15 brand new CFMOTO 400 NK, HONDA CLICK
125i, and YAMAHA MIO GEAR 125S motorcycles, plus a variety of big ticket items from any of 15 ongoing raffle draws until April 30.
SINGKO SWERTE is bannered under ‘Panalo ka sa San Lazaro’, a WMRC campaign geared to help boost the economy and jumpstart tourism in the area. The initiative also aims to promote the establishment’s world-class facilities as being at par with the metro’s 5-star hotels minus the prohibitive rates, thus offering guests a ‘win-win’ (panalo) experience in San Lazaro—where WMRC is situated—and where the historic Hippodrome horse racetrack once stood from 1912 to 2003.
