Senator Juan Miguel “Miguel Zubiri is seeking the passage of the Bayanihan 3 law if given another term in the Senate.
Zubiri said the legislation will provide additional financial assistance to workers, employers, and other sectors, which were affected by the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.
The lawmaker formalized his senatorial bid last Wednesday when he filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC).
Despite running as an independent candidate, he said he is willing to work with other political parties.
He noted several parties already expressed interest to invite him in their senatorial line up including the party of Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto and Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson. (Samuel Medenilla)
