The Department of Health (DOH) on Sunday night logged 13,273 additional Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 2,593,399.
There were 45,249 recoveries and 112 deaths.
Following the delay in th3 release of the case bulletin, the DOH said that they are in constant coordination with the Department of Information and Communications Technology to resolve technical issues with COVIDKaya.
“The DOH will then again issue necessary public advisories should there be delayed in issuance of the case bulletin in the next days” the DOH said.
Of the total number of infections, 4.3 percent (112,008) are active cases, 94.2 percent (2,442,623) have recovered, and 1.49 percent (38,768) have died.
Forty-seven duplicates were removed from the total case count. Of these, 35 are recoveries.
Moreover, 47 cases that were previously tagged as recoveries were reclassified as deaths after final validation.
All laboratories were operational on October 1, 2021 but 3 labs were not able to submit their data to the Covid-19 Document Repository System.
Based on data in the last 14 days, the 3 non-reporting labs contribute, on average, 0.6 percent of samples tested and 0.7 percent of positive individuals.
