This little slice of heaven this island of solitude gentle waves crashing on the rocks soul calmers on a twilight afternoon
forgetting the world not hearing cacophony of voices and sounds not soaked in deadlines and back-breaking work and living on the edge
a candle light dinnerbefore retiring to my soft bamboo sheet-covered bed
then waking up with the sun walking through rain forest from here to forever
but commitments snap me out of my reverie pick up the pace and rest my tortured mind another day
