THE permits releasing unit of the Quezon City Business Permits and Licensing Department (BPLD) announced that it will be open everyday including weekends beginning March 21 until April 25 to accommodate all businesses that will claim the original copy of their business permit.
Margie Santos, head of the BPLD, said applicants who have a scheduled appointment to claim their business permits and clearances may drop by the releasing unit from Monday to Sunday, anytime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. However, it will be closed on April 4 or Easter Sunday.
“This is extra service for all our city’s business owners. We want to make sure that there are no delays on our end especially with the issuance of their permits and clearances,” Santos said.
Santos added that applicants may also opt to request for a digital copy of their permit via email at records.bpld@quezoncity.gov.ph.
This electronic or e-copy, she added, will be honored and can be used while the authenticated or printed copy is yet to be released.
The move aims to fast track application processes from about 90,000 businesses registered in the city.
