CJ PEREZ and Aaron Black lead the initial batch of players who will be honored by the Philippine Basketball Association Press Corps during the organization’s virtual Awards Night on March 7 at the TV5 Media Center.
Perez, 27, gets his second straight Scoring Champion award, while Black banners the All-Rookie Team during the ceremony where the awardees for the 2019 season will also be feted. Last year’s ceremony was shuttered by the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
The one-hour program is presented by Cignal TV and will be shown on PBA Rush on March 8.

Black, 24, leads the All-Rookie team following his stellar performance with Meralco in the Clark bubble, where the Bolts made the semifinals of the Philippine Cup for the first time in franchise history. He was named the shortened season’s Outstanding Rookie.
