“Singing is my passion. It helps me relax and makes me feel good. I believe God gave me the voice and the talent and my Dad believed in me. That was my motivation. So even if I have doubts about myself, I always wanted to be a singer.”
“However, early marriage, work and studies and having to live in the US, got my dream sidelined for years and it is only now that I got to do what I know I can do best,” Soft Rock Diva Rozz Daniels told the Soundstrip in an email interview.
Yes, Rozz Daniels is now living her dream as a singer/performer especially with the upcoming launch of her debut single, ‘Napamahal Nako.’
Despite the ongoing pandemic which is still hitting worldwide, Rozz is coming up with a new song for the new year 2021. The song was specifically made for her by composer Adonis Tabanda.
Rozz said she practices practically everyday so she can sing her first song perfectly. “Yeah I practice everyday for this song. I look forward to having everyone hear this Original Pinoy song titled ‘Napamahal Nako’.”
Rozz is all praises and is thankful to her manager-discoverer, Total International Entertainer Nick Vera Perez, for his all-out support to attain her ultimate dream of becoming a singer. Likewise, she was happy to have joined NVP’s highly successful show at KUMU which according to her eased her pandemic blues away and showcased her singing prowess. Moreover, she said, the NVP1WORLD family show at KUMU from October to December 2020 has successfully raised fund for charity. “We did the campaign Race to Face to Care where if we win, we will be awarded 100K worth of relief goods to the charity of choice of Mr. NVP. Then finally, Mr. Nick Vera Perez won! I was and still am very happy as I was there with him throughout the campaign as part of the winning team.”
Rozz said she loves the 80’s music! Back in her youngeer days in the Philippines, she enjoyed and admired the music of Julie Vega (Somewhere In My Past), Jam Morales (Even If) and Sharon Cuneta (Mr. DJ).
Rozz said it was his Dad who encouraged her to sing and tagged her along to several singing contests. However, it was only in 2015 when her Dad passed away that Rozz decided to sing professionally to fulfill his last wish for her (to sing) and show the world her talent.
Now based in the US, she is scheduled to come home in the Philippines to promote her first single and join her mentor Nick in his concert should the situation permits.
Watch for Rozz and her debut single for 2021.
