The German Embassy’s Deputy Head of Mission Laura Oexle (right) recently took part in the handover of relief goods and protective gear for the Mangyans of Mindoro.

With support from her country’s government, the group German Doctors is working with Initiatives for Dialogue and Empowerment Through Alternative Legal Services Inc., or IDEALS, in assisting the indigenous peoples to obtain civil-registration documents.
