AFTER being tested positive of Covid-19 earlier on a RT-PCR test in Clark, the referee suspected of having been infected with the coronavirus, was again tested, this time with antigen testing at the Athletes’ Village in New Clark City in Capaz, Tarlac on Wednesday.
The result was negative, according to a statement by the Philippine Basketball Association late night Wednesday.
But the referee will be subjected to a strict 14-day quarantine at the Athletes’ Village in New Clark City and will undergo another RT-PCR test to confirm the negative antigen result.
Eight other persons who were in close contact with the referee will also be isolated for the next 12 hours. They will undergo another round of RT-PCR tests on Saturday, October 24.
