AFTER Roger Pogoy’s 45-point explosion that kicked off TNT Tropang Giga’s campaign as well as the Philippine Basketball Association restart at the Clark  bubble on Sunday, it was Bobby “Ray” Parks Jr.’s turn to torch the Angeles University Foundation Gym’s hoops on Tuesday night.

Parks tallied a career-high 40 points he draped with 11 rebounds and five assists as TNT Tropang Giga blasted Terrafirma, 112-101, to go 2-0 won-lost in the Philippine Cup.

Too bad there were no fans at the Angeles City facility although millions were glued on their televion sets as the explosive Tropang Giga scorers did what they do best.

The son of the late seven-time PBA Best Import only had three points in the opening quarter, but went berserk the rest of the way.

“What’s important for us is to win early on,” TNT coach Ferdinand “Bong” Ravena said.

Jeth Troy Rosario added 20 points, 15 rebounds and five assists, while veteran William Jayson Castro scattered 15 points for TNT

John Paul Erram piled up 14 points and Pogoy contributed 11 points on top of nine rebounds for the Tropang Giga.

Last year’s rookie of the year CJ Perez finished with 30 points to lead Terrafirma.
