THE recovery rate among members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) afflicted with the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) has been consistently high, Camp Crame said on Wednesday.
The PNP Health Service said the recovery rate, particularly for its members who had served as frontliners in the battle against the pandemic, was at 50.86 percent.
In his report to PNP chief General Archie Gamboa, Health Service director Brig. Gen Herminio Tadeo Jr. said that out of the earlier 326 Covid-19 cases, 176 personnel have already recovered.
As of Wednesday, the PNP has recorded a total of 346 cases as 20 new confirmed were reported. Four PNP personnel have also died of the disease.
