81-year-old Kamuning Bakery Cafe (No. 43 Judge Jimenez St. corner K-1st St., Brgy. Kamuning, Quezon City), owned by newspaper columnist Wilson Lee Flores, is putting on a song and poetry program “Kape’t Ka Pete” as a fund-raising dinner event for the medicinal needs & other expenses of poet/editor/screenwriter/songwriter & former journalist Jose F. “Pete” Lacaba.
Among the performers who have agreed to take part in this fund-raising event are singers Noel Cabangon, Cookie Chua, Hazel Faith and Skarlet Brown; actor Ricky Davao; poets Gemino Abad, Butch Dalisay, Krip Yuson, Vim Nadera, Michael Coroza, Marne Kilates; fictionist Charlson Ong, etc.
