To successfully guide the new managers to take the big leap in their career, the Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP) will launch a special training entitled, Manager Effectiveness Program to be held on Wednesday and Thursday, on October 9 and 10, 2019 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, Pasay City, Philippines. The two-day program is for tenured managers who want to sharpen their skills, for supervisors and children of owners who are being honed to take on a managerial position to provide them the right skills, mindset and attitude to be more successful in their careers and to be productive in their jobs.
The training will also showcase a compilation of best practices on how to lead your team effectively and efficiently to achieve your organizations goal—in a Philippine setting and beyond. Attendees will also be provided with valuable insights, and practical tips that can help your new managers to prevent rookie mistakes that can be costly to your organization.
The program will feature Ramon M. de Leon, former managing director of Ayala Corp. Under the Office of Lead Director for Infrastructure, he seconded to the various Ayala-owned subsidiaries to help in the corporate transformation of Globe Telecom, Manila Water, IMI and BPI Family Bank. He is a sought-after facilitator and lecturer with over 30 years of experience in the areas of Human Resource Management, Labor and Employee Relations, Quality and Productivity, Leadership and Motivation, Change Management and Organization Development. He regularly conducts various training and lectures on highly specialized topics which has benefited many local and international organizations to help them grow their people and businesses successfully.
Registration is open to the general public. CGBP is also accredited by the Civil Service Commission. Attendees from the government can earn points for their career advancement and are exempted from the P2,000-limit when attending training conducted by the private sector based on Department of Budget Management’s circular 563 dated April 22, 2016.
