SMARTPHONE maker Realme is now laying down the foundations to support its prospective growth this year, with an executive painting a rosy outlook for the company this 2019.
Eason de Guzman, the company’s marketing lead, said his group will be rapidly expanding both its online and online sales channels to capture a slice of the fast-paced smartphone industry in the Philippines.
“We are expanding a lot of our offline stores and will be increasing our presence online this year. We are getting a lot of feedbacks that people want us to open up stores in the regions, and that’s what we will be doing,” he said.
The smartphone brand is building a total of 100 concept kiosks nationwide as part of its offline sales channels, and has struck a partnership agreement with digital mall Shopee to further expand its reach online.
“Filipinos love value for money, and we are looking at that market segment for our growth,” de Guzman said.
Realme launched on Wednesday what officials called as a game changer in the smartphone arena, the Realme 3, which packs an arsenal of specs for only P6,990.
Packed with a MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage, and a 13MP front camera and a rear 13MP main camera plus 2MP secondary camera, the Realme 3 is “the strongest segment entrant today.”
“Realme has a space to grow further in the smartphone industry,” realme COO Jacky Chen said.
