PUBLICLY listed firm Megawide Construction Corp. has been tapped anew as contractor by leading real-estate company Megaworld for its latest development called the Gentry Manor situated along Seaside Boulevard in Westside City in Pasay.
With a total contract price of P4.36 billion, this project involves the construction of a podium and four 16-level towers.
Initial works already started in January of this year. The new township is targeted for completion by January 2023.
“Megawide is proud to help deliver Megaworld’s first-world vision for Gentry Manor,” said Edgar Saavedra, chairman and CEO of Megawide.
As the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) partner of Andrew Tan-led property developer, the infrastructure and engineering firm vows to bring its expertise and vast experience to ensure the consistency of the project’s design and quality as planned.
“We are committed to delivering only the highest standards of construction technology and excellence for Gentry Manor,” he said.
This is the fourth time that both leading brands in construction and property development are tying up for a premier project.
Currently, Megawide serves as contractor for other ongoing Megaworld offerings, such as the One Manchester Place in Mactan Newtown, Cebu; and the Albany and Saint Mortiz properties in McKinley West, Taguig.
“Megaworld is one of our most, valued long-term clients, and we are grateful for their continued trust in Megawide,” Saavedra said.
Megawide is the private partner for other key infrastructure projects in the country, such as the Mactan-Cebu International Airport and the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange.
