Congratulations to all the members of Batch 27 for completing the five-day Executive Course on National Security (ECNS) given by the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP).
The NDCP, which is based in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City, is the one and only education, training, and research agency that focuses on strategic defense and national security (www.ndcp.edu.ph).
NDCP was recognized as an institution due to its proactive discourses among the defense departments and armed forces of different countries promoting peace, world relations and cooperation, and international environmental protection.
The NDCP is under the Department of National Defense (DND) under the current leadership of Secretary Delfin N. Lorenzana. The NDCP is under the administration of retired Navy Admiral Roberto Estioko as president and retired Air Force General Rolando Jungco Jr. as executive vice president.
I’m in awe of the expertise of the lecturers like National Security Adviser (NSA) retired AFP Chief of Staff Hermogenes C. Esperon Jr., Budget Secretary Benjamin E. Diokno, former Defense Secretary Norberto Gonzales, and other high-ranking government officials and personalities from different premier universities in the country.
To be included in the ECNS is a privilege due to its limited participants as set by the NDCP. So I think the NDCP should widen its reach and support for the current administration of President Duterte.
Allow me to mention my co-members of the 2018 ECNS Batch 27-NDCP:
