Presidential Spokesman Harry L. Roque Jr. went on a hasty leave starting on Monday following his announcement he will spend the weekend to weigh his job options.
In a message to reporters, Roque also said he will embark on a trip abroad starting on Wednesday, and that he will also not be in Bali, Indonesia, for the Asean Leaders’ Gathering on October 11.
Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence T. Go told reporters that he was not aware why Roque suddenly took a leave of absence.
As of press time, Go said Roque is scheduled to attend the Cabinet meeting on Monday (October 8) and to talk to the President.
