AFTER a scintillating teaser was released at the middle of the year, Lexus Manila has finally revealed the much-anticipated ES 350 at its posh Bonifacio Global City showroom. Bolder and more provocative, this premium city slicker aspires to break convention and go beyond the ordinary.
“This is our new entry-level offering to the market. Since it’s catered more to our young executives, this ES 350 model will all the more capture their ever discriminating tastes as it is more daring and exciting,” Lexus Manila president Raymond Rodriguez said.
At the onset, it sports a coupe-like silhouette where it features a redesigned spindle grille with ultra-compact triple-LED headlamps that create a more distinctive look. It struts the same kind of elegance at its rear with its classy LED taillamps. Its classy extraordinary panache is by capped 235/ 45R18 noise-reducing aluminium alloy wheels.
Inside, one is warmly welcomed by a driver-focused cockpit while being enveloped by an exceptionally unique craftsmanship. The heads-up display and 12.3-inch Lexus Premium Navigation screen are carefully positioned in the driver’s field of vision for seamless control over the vehicle’s features while its 17-speaker Mark Levinson Premium Surround Sound System is equipped with the new PurePlay technology for world-class acoustics.
The ES 350 now comes with a Euro 4 3.5-liter V6 engine mated to a new eight-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission that produces a powerful 300hp and 357 N-m of torque output.
The stylish stunner’s new chassis and suspension provides a more responsive drive and superior ride comfort.
It comes in exterior colours such as: Ice Ecru Mica Metallic, Sunlight Green Mica Metallic, Sonic Quartz, Mercury Gray Mica, Platinum Silver Metallic, Sonic Titanium, Black and Graphite Black Glass Flake. While interior semi-anline leather hues can be in: Chataeu, Black, Topaz and Rich Cream.
According to Rodriguez, this new ES 350 is tagged at around P4 million.
