GENCARS Inc., one of the biggest distributors of Isuzu vehicles in the country, recently inaugurated its seventh dealership along Tagaytay Road in Barangay Pulong, Santa Cruz, in the progressive city of Santa Rosa, Laguna.
The sprawling dealership boasts of a total land area of more than 5,000 square meter with a 593-sq-m showroom that can readily display a total of 10 units, including Isuzu’s biggest trucks like the C and E series.
The dealership, which had its soft opening a few months back, was welcomed by the local executives of the city, who graced the affair, led by Mayor Dan Fernandez, and former Mayor and now Laguna First District Rep. Arlene Arcillas.
In his welcome remarks, Fernandez acknowledged that the dealership will contribute to the coffers of the city.
Meanwhile, Arcillas said, “The opening of the Isuzu-Gencars dealership has long been awaited since I was the chief executive of the city. This was promised to me by the late ALC Chairman Ambassador Antonio Cabangon who was like a father to me, but unfortunately, it happened during the term of our hard working and good-looking Mayor Dan Fernandez,” this statement elicited laughter from all those who attended the event.
In his speech, Gencars President and CEO D. Edgard A. Cabangon said the ALC Group of Companies has been in Santa Rosa for quite a while, courtesy of the Eternal Gardens Park, which is one of their businesses.
Isuzu Philippines Corp. (IPC) President Hajime Koso also paid tribute to the late ambassador by saying “The new dealership is the fruit of the dream of an outstanding man—the late Ambassador Antonio Cabangon Chua—who envisioned a world-class Isuzu dealership in the heart of Santa Rosa City because of its ideal location and robust economic growth”.
He also addded that what makes the new dealership very special is that it follows the strict standards of Isuzu, in terms of facility design, equipment and manpower, making it our model dealership at present.
Indeed, the accolade bestowed on the dealership is very well-deserved as the facility houses a complete customer-centric approach with its waiting area, a modern entertainment system, comfort rooms with PWD assistance, and customer lounge that heightens the shopping experience of customers and would-be buyers. The building’s modern façade is big and its modern interior design exudes a classy ambiance.
The new Isuzu dealership is expected to foster a strong alliance with car buyers and entrepreneurs, who want an Isuzu vehicle to power up their businesses in this part of the country. Buyers of the company’s best-selling SUV and pickup, the mu-X and D-MAX, as well as its reliable trucks, can expect excellent after-sales service and original quality parts for their vehicles.
The Mass and the blessing ceremony were led by Fathers Rey Adalid and Jojo Buenafe. The company’s annual Christmas party was also held in the same venue.
