THERE has been no shortage of fun and excitement in Amaia Land communities this summer as homeowners and neighboring communities recently engaged in exhilarating activities that included an adrenaline-filled drone racing competition—the first ever in the property development circuit—and a car show weekend.
Held recently at the Rain Garden, Lakeside Evozone, of Nuvali, Air Race 2017 drew mostly businessmen and information-technology personalities from Metro Manila who had wanted a much needed break from their daily grind. Amaia’s major sponsors, Pepsi Co. and DJI Philippines, likewise, came in full force.
The drone race participants had a grand time seeing their “toys” racing overhead as they made new friends and enjoyed the camaraderie in a competitive atmosphere. Three participants won major prizes, namely, Robert Battlad (first place); Marc Cometa (second place); and Gregg Villaver (third place).
According to Amaia executives, the Air Race was organized to encourage amity and sportsmanship among the homeowners and guest players to promote the two Amaia projects in the sustainable-living estate of Santa Rosa, Laguna.
A week earlier, Amaia Land, likewise, brought homeowners and automobile enthusiasts together at the Auto Show Weekend held in the retail area of Amaia Steps Sucat in Parañaque City. Organized on April 22, the event lured Amaia residents, local car clubs and other groups, like Honda Cars Manila Bay, Isuzu Alabang and Volkswagen Alabang
The auto show was graced by Kristel Joy Manolo, Amaia Land project-development manager for South Metro Manila, and Jose Delima Sanchez, barangay captain of Barangay San Antonio in Parañaque City.
Participants enjoyed the various display and retail booths, lights, music and car showcases in the event. More than 100 awards were also given, including Best in Presentation, Best Interior, Best Nissan, Loudest Engine Roar, VIP Ride and Amaia Car Choice.
A white Toyota BB bagged the Best of Show trophy, while 10 lucky guests also received P100,000 worth of accident insurance from Prulife UK.
The event, which was geared to attract future homeowners and successfully give people a taste of Amaia Land’s invigorating lifestyle, was made possible by partners and sponsors, namely, Big Hit Productions, Titos of Manila, Atosh, Autophile.ph, Anytime Fitness Santana Grove, Nuff Said Society, Hive, Malachi, Ineng’s BBQ, South Unite and When In Manila.
