THE Baguio Convention Center will be a walk-through for builders and architects from January 12 to 14, during Northbuildex 2017.
A project of RAM Architectural Services, the fourth expo of the group features a whole range of building material needs—from tiles to powered tools—to help anyone interested in every aspect of construction for ideas on innovations or simply what the latest trends in building are. This fourth Northern Building and Construction Exposition (Northbuildex) will also be offering a series of seminars on current building trends and sustainable construction solutions.
The following seminars will be conducted by professionals in the field of construction industry:
- Thursday, January 12: 10 a.m. Adriel Trinidad will speak on Feng Shui 101: “The Fortune of your Building;” and Nathaniel Lubrica, an engineer, on Geographic Information System at 2 p.m.
- Friday, January 13: Robert Chritiansen will give the Tool Box Talk: “Safety Updates and Risk Management Construction at 10 a.m.; Arch. Miguel Guerrero on Rated: PG: “Green Architecture” at 2 p.m.
- Saturday, January 14: Erlwin Abanggan will tackle Investing 101: “Financial Freedom Through Stock Market Investments” at 10 a.m., followed by Arch. Jessie Miranda on Architectural Software.
The event will also brighte the Baguio Convention Center, with RAM donating light bulbs as part of the community-building effort.
The event also aims to raise funds for the recovery of Baby Arkyn, a 1-and-a-half-year-old boy from Baguio City who recently underwent open-heart surgery. Marilou Guieb
The event will be graced by Councilor Michael Lee Lawana, ABC president and an engineer, as guest speaker.
