BUSINESS tycoon and former Senate President Manny Villar broke ground for his latest venture: the Golden Haven Memorial Chapels and Crematorium, on December 21 at the Villar Sipag Center in Las Piñas City.
The businessman’s latest project will be under one of his fast-growing businesses—Golden Haven Memorial Park Inc.—a business that has been present for over 30 years in the memorial-park industry.
Golden Haven has aggressively progressed this year, opening three additional parks—two in Nueva Vizcaya and one in Pampanga—and will open seven more next year.
Villar sees the opportunity for Golden Haven to become a household name like his other business Camella. In his speech during the groundbreaking ceremony, he said he wants Golden Haven to be “top of mind.” Present during the groundbreaking ceremony were the officers of Golden Haven Memorial Park Inc. led by its Chief Operating Officer Karlo Magpayo.
Seeing the possibility of further growing in the industry, Villar is now pushing Golden Haven from providing memorial parks and columbary to giving its future clients a luxurious and hassle-free five-star death-care services through its chapels and crematorium.
This five-star chapel and crematorium will feature not only luxurious and state-of-the-art facilities but also well trained and certified professionals to take care of their clients’ departed loved ones.
Another feature that will be present in the chapel and crematorium will be a medical-grade mortuary. Aside from the amenities and facilities, services like luxury hearses and catering services will be offered to its clients once Golden Haven Chapels and Crematorium will be operational.
“This marks a milestone for Golden Haven, from memorial parks, to columbary, to chapels and crematorium,” said Villar, describing how symbolic the groundbreaking ceremony of this new venture for Golden Haven is.
With Golden Haven’s latest expansion along the way, the company is now on its way to reaching its founders’ goal for the company: To become the biggest memorial company in the country.”
