LISTED company iRipple Inc. (RPL) sold 10 percent of its outstanding capital stock for P68.23 million.
A total of 1,556,932 RPL shares owned by majority equity holder Alfonso S. Anggala was offered at P43.84 each via a special block sale through the facilities of the Philippine Stock Exchange.
The buyers were identified as Socorro P. Lim, Victory Y. Lim Jr., Marianne Joy Siao, Maria Socorro M. Benavidez and Edmundo Angelo T. Goduco. Following the share-sale transaction, Anggala, who also serves as the company’s treasurer, now directly owns 5,292,016 shares.
RPL is a provider of integrated point-of-sale (POS) software, retail management systems and inventory management solutions.
It operates through three segments: third-party transactions, retail solutions and special projects.
Product portfolios include Barter, a merchandise-management solution (MMS) catered to small and medium retailers; and Barter 8–Supermarket, a software solution for the supermarket and department store market segments. Apart from offering solutions to retailers, distribution companies, pharmaceutical firms and convenience stores, it also serves as a reseller of IBM and HP servers, POS equipment, Epson printers, and Symbol-Motorola scanners, as well as hardware and POS software.
