AVAYA reported a positive response from both private and public sectors to its full suite of cloud and on-premises solutions.
Since launching its powered, branded and private cloud services in Asia Pacific (Aspac), the company told the BusinessMirror that markets across the region are varied in their stage of adoption and acceptance on transition to cloud.
“Where we have seen most traction is with multinational companies, whose work forces are adapting rapidly to new challenges,” Avaya said.
The company noted that they are seeing interest in cloud in both the very large enterprise and the mid-market space for unified communications and contact center.
The primary verticals where Avaya’s newest offerings are in-demand are business-process outsourcers, which have a great deal of seasonality; and the financial sector, which needs to move to new technologies to remain competitive.
“There’s also a growing interest in the government sector,” Avaya added. In today’s Era of Engagement, businesses of all sizes should resort to capacity building for their teams and attend to their customers’ needs with passion and purpose.
With this in mind, Avaya Powered Cloud Services, Avaya Branded Cloud Services, and Avaya Private Cloud Services benefit them by allowing a third party to manage the complexity of the communication environment, the flexibility to turn on and off services rapidly, deployment savings, and equal security and reliability levels available in on-premises solutions.
“Customers appreciate the flexible approach we offer—not trying to force fit them into a specific model. Working with big friends, like Google and HP, helps us to be even more flexible in the choices we offer,” the firm said.
Besides supporting quick application deployment, it helps manage whatever issue that may arise in the process and eventually enable the customer to recover from it as fast as possible.
Through its Fabric Connect technology, the company showed how a fabric network backs up modern application-enabled mobile engagement environments.
It is noted in a survey last year that Avaya customers who already have deployed it said that implementation time was 11 times faster; that troubleshooting and configuration times were both reduced by seven times; and outages due to human error were all eliminated.
Among the three deployment options, Avaya Private Cloud Services business is the fastest-growing segment for the company globally and in Aspac.
“We are actively engaged with services providers in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Japan and Australia,” Avaya said.
“Globally, we have several hundred customers for our Fabric Connect solution and a significant number of those are either based in or have operations in Aspac—with financial services, education, health care and hospitality customers to the fore,” added the company.
Avaya is a leading provider of solutions that enable customer and team engagement across multiple channels and devices for better customer experience, increased productivity and enhanced financial performance.
