Armed Forces gets new adjutant general

A MEMBER of Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “Matikas” Class of 1983 is set to be assigned as the new The Adjutant General of the Armed Forces.

Camp Aguinaldo insiders said Col. Ronald Albano, present commander of the 402nd Infantry Brigade, which is under the 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division, will replace Brig. Gen. Rolando Jungco.

Earlier, President Aquino appointed Jungco, a member of PMA Class of 1982, as the new commander of the Armed Forces Civil Relations Service (CRS).

Albano is the former chief of staff of the Armed Forces Central Command.

At present, he is among brigade commanders who aggressively implemented the total log ban in partnership with the Anti-Illegal Logging Task Force led by retired Maj. Gen. Renato Miranda.
