Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC), the listed property unit of Gokongwei-led JG Summit Holdings Inc., said presales in the first half of its fiscal year rose a quarter to P3 billion pointing to better prospects for 2011, its top official said.

RLC president Frederick Go added that net income during the period rose 13 percent to P2.037 billion, as revenues increased by the same amount to P6.26 billion.

RLC, meanwhile, is keen on expanding its office-leasing segment, announcing that it is developing two office towers near its Robinsons Galleria shopping center within the Ortigas central building district.

The two buildings, dubbed Cyberscape One and Cyberscape Two, will offer a combined 80,000 square meters of floor area.

The company said Cyberscape One will be a 23-story structure, and is expected to be completed by middle 2013. The second office building will stand at 36 stories.

“We are the largest developer within the Ortigas business district as it is,” Go said, noting that the projects will start “immediately”. RLC said the new projects plan to attract business-process outsourcing locators.
