HECTOR CALMA, always the cool and composed guy on and off the court, lost his cool in Game Two of the Philippine Basketball Association Governors’ Cup finals in Tubod on Wednesday night.
And he regretted doing so.
“Hindi ko talaga na-control ang sarili ko dahil may hindi magandang sinabi si Mark Yee sa akin,” said Calma, now the team manager of the Petron Boosters. He, however, refused to say what Yee told him that caused him to lose his cool.“But I really regret of what I did. I already apologized to Atty. Paul Gueco [Talk ’N Text official] after the game,” he added.
Calma was slapped a technical foul for his unsportsmanlike conduct on Yee.
“That was my second technical foul but as a manager of San Miguel [now Petron],” said Calma. “When I was a player, never akong nabigyan ng technical foul.”
