Fortune Life Insurance Co. is an accredited provider of the compulsory life-insurance coverage for migrant workers under the rules issued by the Insurance Commission in partnership with the Passenger Accident Management and Insurance Agency Inc.
(Pami), which provides support in terms of insurance management and administration. D. Arnold A. Cabangon, Fortune Life president, and Eduardo R. Atayde, Pami board chairman (third and fourth from left, respectively), led the recent signing of a memorandum of agreement (MOA) between the life insurer and Pami at the offices of Fortune Life in Pasig City.
Joining them are (from left) Melecio C. Mallillin, president of PhilCharter Insurance, provider of nonlife insurance; Evelyn T. Carada, Fortune Life executive vice president and general manager; and Angelo Antonio P. Buendia, Pami operations manager. The MOA signing formalized the partnership for the mandatory insurance coverage for agency hired migrant workers, with Fortune Life as the provider for natural-death benefit.
