The Chinese communists Government is blocking Google and to some extent today the 16th of August they are also blocking hotmail and msn. Yes they say they are worried about pornography, if that were the real truth and it is not then they need to immiediatly shut down the Chinese Baidu search engine which throws up pornography constantly as do their other search engines. Baidu gleefully hosts Chinese web sites to distribute for free copies of western movies and music and the Chinese government pay no attention to that. The problem for them is that the English version of google can easilly throw up historical facts about some of the many nasty things that the communist government has done which the normal Chinese know nothing about. Reading through a Chinese history school book is like reading a joke book because the communist government writes the schoolbooks and fills the books with praise for themselves and total lies about other countries. Kids here are finding out facts that contradict the lies fed to them by communist teachers and this has the government worried= solution= block the source of information and find a lie as a reason. Normal people would be shocked how much money the west has poured into China through investment and donations, by the way the millions of dollars for the Earthquake victims still sits in the communist governments bank accounts. In Shanghai western countries are building incredible building for the Shanghai expo courtesy of the tax payers back home. The Chinese gov are delighted and will keep them after the expo. It realy is time to stop pouring money into a country with a government that elects itself and gives it own people no say in anything. In fact even normal everyday Chinese are fully aware they have a government that controls a fanatical communist army that is totally willing as it has proven, to kill its own people if they question the actions of the government. The Chinese deserve a government elected by the people to represent the people and not a gang of smiling crimnmals that constantly re-elect themselves. The countless money poured into China props up and maintains the power of these lying thugs who rather then express gratitude instead continue to refer to westerners as liars and a nuisance. STOP INVESTING AND PROPPING UP THESE CRIMINALS WITH OUR TAX MONIES> Stop the investment and provide some motivation for the normal Chinese to remove these criminals and start a real government process.
With all the money we constantly pour into this country the normal people here have zero motivation to remove their corrupt masters because they at least get a slice of our investments also.
