    Pacsports exclusive distributor of
Club Car, the Benz of the fairways

PACSPORTS Philippines, exclusive distributor of Nike sports apparel and golf equipment, is hoping to capture another segment in the golfing industry after it bought the rights to solely market Club Car golf carts and course utility vehicles from its former supplier Turf Company.

Already acknowledged as one of the country’s market leaders, Pacsports solidified its hold of the distributorship industry when it launched Monday the latest models of Club Car, which are considered the best by 16,000 courses in the United States plus another 1,000 in the Asian region.

“Filipino golfers now have the opportunity to avail themselves of what has become the golf industry’s most exciting equipment.  Club Car has the feel of a Mercedes Benz car because of unsurpassed performance and unmatched reliability,” Benjie Magsino, Club Car Philippines general manager, said.

The immediate favorable responses of the more than 200 invitees who trooped to Manila Golf Club in the affair by IDEAZ of Bob Zozobrado were enough proof that, indeed, Club Car has been the preferred transportation among the world’s top golf clubs.

Magsino and top executives of Pacsports and Club Car introduced three new variants: DS Player, Precedent Professional and Precedent Champion.

The DS Players is a classic, battle-tested and true veteran of the links.  It is the more popular choice with its all-aluminum frame, Armorflex body coupled with rack and pinion steering.  The DSP treats its riders to a smooth performance throughout the game.

The Precedent Profession is the sporty type of three.  It features SportsDrive—a handheld diagnostic and Surlyn panel that allows every golfer a great golf experience.  Its strength and style, though, remain as the main draw of this Club Car flagship model suited to redefine golf-cart requirements.

The Precedent Champion has the most charisma as it moves riders to another level.  Its 10-inch rims, premium colors and bold accent stripe give it a look of a champion.  It even serves as an inspiration with its stylish and sophisticated design guaranteed to bring smiles no matter the outcome of the game.

Titleist NXT Tour and Extreme Balls

Titleist, the undisputed leader in golf-ball technology, advances its industry-leading NXT microbrand with the introduction of the new NXT Tour and NXT Extreme golf balls.

“The New NXT Tour advancements in tee-to-green performance have been designed to accelerate its acceptance by better, aspiring players; while the enhancements to the New NXT Extreme establish new benchmarks for distance and soft feel within the two-piece premium golf ball segment,” said Joanne Ng-Palomar, marketing manager of Dynamic Sports, the exclusive Philippine distributor of Titleist.

The New NXT Extreme continues to deliver superior distance and soft feel with a more controlled ball flight. Among the enhancements to the New NXT Tour and New NXT Extreme is a new Staggered Wave parting line that was first utilized by Titleist with the introduction of the New Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls earlier this year.

“The Staggered Wave parting line effectively increases the dimple surface coverage on the golf ball, which contributes to improved aerodynamics and a more consistent ball flight,” Palomar pointed out.
