BEIJING—Crystal Computer Graphics Co. Limited (Crystal CG) has demonstrated its outstanding capabilities in the 29th edition of the Olympic Games.

Crystal CG is the image-design service supplier of the Beijing Olympics. It was contracted by the Beijing Olympic Games Organizing Committee in 2006 to present marvelous digital videos to audiences of the Games around the world.

“Digital visual technology can break the time and special restrictions of 3D technology by recreating historical scenes and events, as well as offering a glimpse of the spectacular future,” said Crystal CG chairman Lu Zhenggang.

Crystal CG is Asia’s largest visual- display company. Founded in 1995, it currently has more than 2,000 staff and has branches in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Dalian, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and London. A leading global enterprise in digital visual technology and service, Crystal CG specializes in providing international synchronized digital visual services with digitalized 3D technology.

Besides being the image design service supplier of the Beijing Games, Crystal CG was also the general contractor of digital video for the Games’ opening ceremonies. It is also the designated multi-media design service supplier for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo and the sole supplier of image design service for the 2011 Shenzhen University Students’ Games.

Crystal CG takes care of 3D visualization development and application services covering video effects, 3D animation, multimedia, video databases and online 3D display. It completed the visual display film of the National Stadium to present the “Bird’s Nest” to the public.
