Extremely in-demand global bike brands hit town

MT PRO Bikes will have a grand launch on July 5 with the country’s top riders gracing the occasion at the UPRC on Chino Roces Avenue (formerly Pasong Tamo) in  Makati City.

2007 Southeast Asian Games mountain bike gold-medal winners Joey Barba and Marites Bitbit and silver medalist Eusebio Quińones will grace the event that will launch in the local market multiple extremely in-demand bike brands such as Iron Horse, Commencal, Cube, Atomlab, Montague, Biomega, Taxc and CKT.

MT Pro Bikes is a bicycle distribution and retail company that focuses on highly specialized bicycles from all over the world.

Other components (parts) and equipment which are also carried by MT Pro Bikes are Kore Components, THE Equipments and FUNN.

The company’s vision is to be able to promote the country in a world-class scale. The brands are top of the class even in the world market.

Part of the company’s thrust is to promote social awareness in providing people alternative ways in commuting.

“We are bringing the [cycling] industry to the next level...the show room is hosting all equipment, bicycles, repair shop, half pipes, apparels, and accessories like shades, etc.,” said assistant general manager  Ichiro Shiraishi.

“It is the biggest and most complete in the Philippines, a definite one-stop shop,” said marketing manager Ann Robles.

Owner and director Anthony Genuino said the company will make available the powerhouse brands available to the local market.

“I can see that it has a lot of potential and we can definitely level up to a world-class audience and market. People are getting conscious of the environment and keeping fit by cycling is one mode of great exercise,” said Genuino.

“There will also be a loyalty program that has great perks and big discounts for the present, two thousand-plus members already, and to think that we haven’t formally launched the show room yet,” he added.
