DTI welcomes Chinese
delegation
Trade and Industry Secretary Peter B. Favila (in barong)

Committee and director general of the Standing Committee
of Guangxi People’s Congress, after their meeting at the
DTI offi ce. The Chinese delegation was in the country
recently to promote cooperation between Guangxi and the
Philippines. Liu revealed Guangxi’s plan to promote
tourism in the area by promoting its passenger airliners
across South China Sea. He also invited Favila to visit
Guangxi’s Manning City in October for the third China-Asean
Expo, where Chinese leaders and leaders of the 10 Asean
